 Director of Schools Sam Miles, pictured here at Harrelson School, visited schools as part of Professional Development Day to emphasize the goal of collaboration. As educators and students prepare for this school year's more rigorous standards, Miles thanks teachers for implementing a system to measure learning throughout the year, their teaching to the new standards, developing new pacing guides, and collaborative teaching. “We must collaborate and self-evaluate in order to understand our strengths and weaknesses. The success of our students depends on it.”

Immunizations are a Must! |

All students entering the 7th grade must have a new immunization certificate for school. The Henry County Health Department, in an effort to assist parents in getting the required immunizations and certificate, will be open late each Thursday during August to provide free immunizations to 7th graders.
