August 2, 2024, is the first day of school for students in the Henry County School System and will be abbreviated. Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:00 a.m.; ninth grade at 11:20 a.m., and grades 10-12 and the virtual academy will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. Looking forward to a great start to the 2024-25 school year!
