Paris, TN- For Coordinated School Health Coordinator Stephanie Winders, safety is her greatest concern for Henry County School System. Winders received a $6200 safety grant from Tennessee Risk Management to use for improving safety maintenance and to buy equipment for the cafeteria at Henry Elementary School.
"In collaboration with other supervisors, we determine areas of concerns and safety improvements that could benefit our employees. The TN Risk Management grant will help us improve safety and hopefully prevent injuries to our employees," explains Winders. TNRMT recognizes that safety awareness and training are vital components of an effective safety program and offer its members the opportunity to apply for grants that will make the workplace safer and more productive.
